Paul Kibel
Paul Kibel is an Associate Professor of Law at Golden Gate University School of Law. He is also Co-Director of the Center on Urban Environmental Law (CUEL). His research includes environmental law, international environmental law, land use, natural resources, trade and the environment, and water law. He is of counsel to and former partner at Fitzgerald, Abbott & Beardsley LLP in the environmental/land use practice group. In addition, he has also taught at UC Berkeley, Stanford University, and the Monterey Institute of International Studies. At Golden Gate he is the faculty editor of the Golden Gate University Environmental Law Journal and directs GGU’s “City Parks” Project and authored the 2007 GGU report, Access to Parkland: Environmental Justice at East Bay Parks. He also teaches Environmental Law & Policy, Civil Procedure, Water Law, and California Natural Resources and Environmental Law. Most recently, he delivered a presentation on the status of CVP irrigation pricing under the WTO Subsidies Agreement at the World Water Congress in Brazil.
