Nicholas Jacobs
Mr. Jacobs became a shareholder with Somach Simmons & Dunn in 2006. He joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2000, after previously clerking with the firm in 1999. Mr. Jacobs practices in the areas of water rights, compliance with Proposition 218, flood liability, together with navigating the FEMA flood insurance rate mapping process, federal and state environmental laws including the California Environmental Quality Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and matters pertaining to property rights and entitlements.
Mr. Jacobs graduated in 1996 from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Philosophy. In 2000, Mr. Jacobs earned his J.D. from the University of California at Davis, King Hall School of Law, where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence award in constitutional law. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
