Jason Peltier
Jason Peltier currently serves as the Chief Deputy General Manager of Westlands Water district. Raised on a diversified farm in Kern County, he received his degree in the California’s Agricultural Leadership program. Prior to his service with Westlands, Peltier served for six years as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Water and Science at the Department of the Interior in Washington D.C. In this position, he was a part of the management team responsible for the Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Geological Survey. The bulk of his professional career has been spent as the Manager of the Central Valley Project Water Association, an organization representing the interests of the eighty water districts serving three million acres of irrigated farm land and four million households.
